Ok folks after a long and boring absence The Ramblin Hillbilly is back and back with a vengance!!!!! I lost intrest in blogging, I had way too much other shit going on in my life and with all the computer troubles I've been having I felt like taking my trusty sidearm (glock 20, 10mm for the un initiated among you) which is carried by the one and only guitar guru Uncle Ted Nugent and dumping 16 rounds into the hard drive but patience won out and the computer lives. Now as far as my extended absence goes I have been in and out of various troubles accompanied by the omnipresent Mr Murphy of Murphy's law. First loosing the best job I have ever had due to lack of contracts and the ones we had going overseas, secondly having to turn my Jeep to the bank(repos royally fuck your credit) to getting a new Jeep and wrecking it enroute to a call on a slick ass road to the scene of an mva.
Well like I said I'm back with a vengance and I wanna get a few things off my chest that have been aggrivating me to no end. First off and one of the most important things that have royally pissed me off was the headlines of the local news papers this past weekend. "Young boy fatally shot under moble home while running tv cable" or something to that effect. That makes me and more than a few other people ask what the FUCK????? Well your answer gentle raders is that the father didn't know how to operate a drill so he shot through the floor killing his 11 year old son.
Next and this one bothers me because of the failures in the system that is supposed to be protecting our children is the death of a 5 year old girl, murdered by her asshole father. The child being mentioned " I am not saying her name out of respect for her family members that actually care" was a gorgeous baby girl that had been typed in to the hospital where (The Ramblin Hillbilly has connections in the hospital so I hear all of the details that get left out of the news paper) for various injuries ranging from bruises to broken ribs and arms to concussions. And the WTF question here is how was this SOB an employee in the federal prison in Beckley WV? There are such a thing as psych screens. And why didn't the system pull the baby out of her fathers home when she was brought into the emergency room on several occasions. The only consolation here is that the SOB is gonna be put in general population with the inmates he guarded "his ass is dead".
Next is the never ending stream of criticism that I face on a daily basis for everything that I attempt to put some effort into but I'm not quite ready to Ramble about that for right now. I am going to Ramble about some good shit for a little bit. I just returned from our wonderful state capital attending gun show. It was a decent show, guns bought and sold and the cash flowed but the two highlights of the show were my acquisitions of a Valotton Tactical folder combat knife(serial number 543 of 600). The knife is named the chameleon and sold new 10 years ago for 400 bucks. The Ramblin Hillbilly traded a low end handgun for it and it's counterpart knife, a chameleon with serial number 542. Goodie number two is the Brooklyn Smasher(an unbreakable baseball bat from Cold Steel) over all it was a good weekend. But it's midnight and I'm tired.
