Today's post is going to be titled the same as one of yours RT. Who says there is no God?
As a few people have already been told my mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She has no health insurance benefits or anything. She just went for a full battery of tests Thursday to determine the best course of treatment. We didn't hear anything on Friday so we had to wait over the weekend to find out the results.

I went to church with my wife and in laws over the weekend instead of with the grandparents as my wife and I normally go. As the service draws to a close the pastor gives an alter call and asks if there is anyone that needs praying for. After the elderly among the congregation received prayer I stepped up and requested prayer for my mother. After standing in for my mother and being prayed over we went back to the in laws and ate and I didn't think anymore about it. I prayed for my mom several more times that day and today.

About 2 hours ago I get a call from my mother saying her test results were in. Now mind you she has already had several MRI and xray scans. She just recently had more scans and a full battery of blood work, all of which came back and she was in the clear. All of her blood work came back good and she does not have MS. Her scans and blood work reveal her to be in the clear!!!!!

Now who says that there is no God?

Ok, I hope none of the family reads this particular blog because it will piss them off even further. Yesterday the wife and mother got into it because of my little sister and her Charlie Foxtrot of a wedding. The brides maids dresses have came in after being ordered from Davids Bridal and need to be checked for alterations. The scheduled day to try them on was today but my wife Cindy couldn't atend due to work. My sister Stephanie texts Cindy and asks her to come and try on and when she says she cant Stephanie goes completely nutz. BrideZilla style, my mother backs my little sister because they are busom buddies and when I supported my wife all HELL broke loose. Mom starts going nuts on me over supporting Cindy over her and Steph. I'm half tempted to say to heck with it and not even attend the Charlie Foxtrot of a wedding anyway. My wife and I are the black sheep now because we don't bow down to what they want. I still respect my mother because The Lord says to honor your parents, I still love my mother because that love is unconditional. But right now untill they realize what they are doing and tearing the family apart my wife and I are removing ourselves from the situation.

Next topic my love and hate of Jeeps.

Yesterday my father in law Tom and I decided to change the brakes on my Jeep. Now don't get me wrong I love my Jeeps, when they are working. When they are broken or need mantinance done they are a pain. The tires came off easily as did the brake pads because they were almost completely gone. Now came the fun part, the rotors"which have not been off of the Jeep since it came off the assembly line in 2004. An hour and a half later and beating, banging, WD40 and a little bit of blow torching later the right rear rotor came off. Repeat process on left rotor. Three hours into the job both of the rotors which needed to be turned severely were off. As we walked into the parts store the owner looks at the rotors and almost laughs. Long story short an hour late the rotors were turned and we were on our way back to the Jeep. No big deal putting the rotors back on and the rest of the brake assembly, we were in a hurry due to getting wet from the raging thunderstorm. We were under a carport but the wind was blowing so we were still getting wet. As I am heading down the road home I hear a loud clicking and vibration from the rear of my Jeep(turn around and head back.) Turns out that we didn't get the emercency brake pad back in the right location and that was the source of the problem. After a bit more beating and banging and getting wet we solved the problem and our 7 hour brake job was done.

Why is it that here lately all of my posts have been things that have been pissing me off? First off I have been paired with some of the most special people I have ever had the dis pleasure of knowing in the course of my online classes. These people and I have to write a collaborative paper on non verbal communication with each of us covering an aspect of the topic. I just hope that we can scrape by with a passing grade because anything more would be a miracle. Now I am not the smartest person in the world , I will be the first to admit that but these people are truly special.

Next on the list is the hours that I have been working for the pay I am recieving. Lets just say that the pay I am getting is above minimum wage but not by much. The hours, which normally are not bad, 1800-2400 or 1900 -0100 have been changed. Due to the administration and all their infiniate wisdom the hours for these particular sites(which I happen to work a lot) have been changed to 2300-0400. That sucks but that is not the true issue behind my ramble this morning. On my way to one of these sites last night I stop in a convenience store to buy an energy drink only to find they only stock redbull and it was close to 4 dollars a can. I think you can guess what hapopened there, they kept their meager stock of energy drinks and I fought sleep the entire night.

On a bright note my lovely wife Cindy in her love of cooking baked a home made coconut cake with buttercream frosting which was also home made. This cake has icing that is nearly 2 inches thick on all sides and if you eat too large a piece you will go into a diabetic coma. But it would so be worth it if you happen to like coconut cake.

I just got a call from Mayflower movers this morning aswell and got a very good estimate about an up and coming move that I am really looking forward to. I also have a few reservations about the move aswell but I am trusting in God to take care of those. This would give me the chance at a very lucrative career in an industry that is hard to get into.

Next on my ramble list this morning is a good thing. Over the weekend I got to take my Jeep down to the inlaws and detail it and get it cleaned out really well. That in it's self made me really happy because the Jeep was getting really nasty where I work insane hours. But to the meat and potatoes of this particular story. My father in law whos name happens to be named Tom still has his old muscle car from his younger days. When we get finished cleaning my Jeep he cracks a grin and tells me to back it up. As I'm wondering what he has in mind he starts into the garage with a set of keys in his hand. As I look at my wife I see her grinning from ear to ear and when I turned back around he took the cover off of a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner. Now I have known about the car for as long as I have known my wife and I have even sat in it before but I had never heard it fire up before. At this point I'm grinning from ear to ear because I finally get to hear her fire up. I am not the most car savvy but this thing has a monster of an engine with the 440+6 and when she fired up it was truly awe inspiring. Now the rumble she puts off just idleing is gorgeous in and of it's self when you get on the throttle look out. She will rattle windows for a quarter mile. It was truly deafening, I am trying to convince Tom to take it out to the drag strip but his recent battle with cancer has been keeping him from that. Maybe next summer we can take it to the street fights down at the Bristol Motor Speedway dragstrip. As soon as I get a decent camera I will take some pictures and post them.

Ok lets just say that a string of things have been bothering me here lately. First off I am stuck in a dead end job and living paycheck to paycheck. That though I hope and pray is about to change, it will require The Ramblin Hillbilly to leave his beloved mountains but lets be honest folks West Virginia is a place to retire after a long and successful career. It is not a place to begin a married life if you ever plan to have anything. The only jobs worth having here are the rail road and state road jobs. Both of which you have to know somebody and or buy stock in knee pads because you are going to need alot of them if you want to have a chance.

Next on the list of things that have been bugging me is school. I am going to Grand Canyon University for my bachellors in criminal justice as I would love to be a cop eventually, maybe even work for one of those 3 letter agencies. Heres the part that is bugging the piss out of me, all I do is write essays. If I had known that all I would be doing is writing papers I probably would not have signed up in the first place but I have already recieved too much student aid to change my mind now. I would need an excellent job before I could even consider paying back my student loans so far. But as stated above that part is about to be taken care of thanks to a really great friend of mine that is getting my foot in the door.

Another thing that is bothering The Ramblin Hillbilly is Jeep problems. I have said all along that I love my Jeeps when they work but when they go down they are a pain in the posterior to fix. Not to mention expensive as all get out, but I have signed up for us fidelis. That is going to cost me 80 bucks a month but it will be worth it when I have to have a transmission replaced or a window motor goes out. This makes the fifth Jeep that I have owned, the second 04 Grand Cherokee and the fourth Grand Cherokee. The lone oddball in there was a 96 Cherokee Sport, I liked it but for the mix of luxury and functioniality in a Grand Cherokee wins out. The only places I cant take my Grand Cherokee that I did the Cherokee are places that are too skinny to fit through. All in all I love my Grand Cherokee but what I truly want is the new Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. Maybe one day but not in the forseeable future as The Ramblin Hillbilly is POOR.

Now on to the things that are really pissing me off, the crooked world of politics and our Kenyan president. The founding fathers of this country are rolling over in their graves right now. First off the kenyan idiot has thrown this country so far into debt that generations from now our great great grandchildren will be paying off our debt. Our great and all knowing leader is thinking to bring known terrorists into the once great United States into our prison system. People that want to kill the infdidels and wound the great satan(the US). Now I'm not saying that the previous idiot that ran this country did anything good for the country economically but he did keep us safe, after 9-11 we ddin't have any major loss of life on US soil. Now our great and all knowing leader wants to end the conflicts in the middle east, weaken ties with Israel, our only true ally in the middle east. But away from that aspect of the presidency and on to the government owned and controlled infrastructure. The government owns a majority stake in two of the big three in detroit. The K.I. (Kenyan Idiot) has fired several top executives in the civillian economy. When did the president have the power to fire people outside of the government sector??? In all honesty and this is not a threat or a call to action it is just one mans hope. I honestly look for another presedential assaniation, maybe the CIA or some white power extremist militia nut with a big bore rifle or and this truly be the most hilarious and add the most poetic justice some abdoulla mohammed towl head terrorist to get colse enough and BOOM.

Oh well I think I see the black suburbans pulling into my driveway and a suit is knocking on my door so it's time to go explain my self to the secret service why I personally wish harm on our foriegn president. Doom On Me.
